Pete's Kingmaker campaign

A Royal Charter

introduction

I Naias, orDreizehn von Richter as it is recorded on the charter, have accepted a comission from the mayor of Restov to explore the greenbelt and strive against banditry and unlawful behaviour in the area. I was informed of the location of a tradingpost on the edge of this territory, owned by a man named Oleg, which would make a good place to start out from.

Whilst collecting my charter I met a half-orc named Gorefang Wolfskinner who was also accepting the same comission. On our travels to Oleg’s trading post we got to talking and it seems that we have a lot in common. We are both halfbreeds who have suffered because of our race and we are both skilled hunters. for myself it is an escape from the troubles of my youth, whilst for him it was his profession. I was plesantly surprised at how well we seemed to get on, which bodes well for this undertaking.

I have been told that there are other adventurers who are accepting the same comission and we should meet up with them at Oleg’s.

Comments

Considering that Gorefang is more than likely partially illiterate, then it makes sense that any adventure log would be written by Naias.

now, that is just lazy.

Why not do a semi literate adventurer log, according to Gorefang.

Gore could also dictate a diary to Naias, I guess.

Hehe. Fair Enough. I just thought originally we were going to write unbiased blogs from 3rd person perspectives. If someone writes a blog from their characters point of view, no-one else can edit it

Idea: From now on, one person writes up per game, from their characters perspective. As colin is writing about the first game from Naias’ point of view, Ill write the next game up from Gorefangs, and someone else can write the third game, etc. Hows that sound?

A Royal Charter

Sounds good to me. I’ll try to post bare accounts of what happened if nobody else does but player accounts are generally more interesting.

that sounds good. It just seems a bit dispassionate to write a third person perspective blog. I think that a record from the character’s perspective gives a bit more insight into the characters and makes things more interesting.

If any details are missed out, then they can still be ammended in the comments section.
